| CAMEC Starts Bidding War for OmegaCorp
St. LOUIS (ResourceInvestor.com) -- In a bid worth $182.9 million, Central African Mining and Exploration Co., [LSE:CFM] became the second company this year to bid for Australian uranium explorer OmegaCorp Ltd. [ASX:OMC], topping a previous bid from Denison Mines Corp. [TSX:DML]. Since December, Denison Mines has made several bids for the uranium mining company. Denison initially offered to purchase the shares of the company for $135 million. Three months later, Denison increased its bid 4% to $141 million based on A$1.15 per share value that was good until April 13. Since the offer, shares of OmegaCorp Ltd. have jumped to about A$1.40 per share on the Australian Stock Exchange. .
Foot Locker bids for Hat World parent
Origins: Started in a mall stand selling 6,000 hats in eight weeks. Grew to five stores in first year and 157 stores in five years.
Growth: Purchased competitor Lids Corp. in 2001, growing to more than 400 stores and two online businesses -- lids.com and hatworld.com.
Changes: In April 2004, Nashville-based Genesco Inc. acquired Hat World, but Hat World decided to expand in Indianapolis and today operates more than 600 stores in 46 states.

Upcoming auction benefits Affirmations, Mosaic Youth Theater

Period antiques from the 1870's-1920's will be offered. Bidding on each jersey begins at $175, and both auctions will last for seven days, closing at 5:00 p.m. (all times local) on Sunday, April 29 and Tuesday, May 1, respectively.
